Group Rides : Have you ridden OECR lately?
Last night myself and CAMBA advocacy guru Frank Dessoffy did some laps at Cleveland Metroparks' Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation mountain bike trail for a nice after-work ride. I know you're thinking that laps would be incredibly boring and on any other trail I would agree, but trust me on this: OECR is different. There's just something about the way this trail flows that makes it a blast to ride over and over. Would it be better if it were longer? Of course, but let's not dwell on that right now and instead focus on how fun this short piece of smooth single-track is to fly through. It's also the perfect place to hone your cornering skills. Oh yeah...remember that you can add distance to your ride by accessing the trail from the towpath. Enjoy!

Group Rides : Epic Ride Recap-North Fork Mountain, WV
This past weekend I had the good fortune to ride North Fork Mountain Trail near Seneca Rocks in West Virginia with a few other CAMBA folks and some riders from Pennsylvania. This trail was so good that it instantly became one of the top three best trails I've ever ridden anywhere. Normally I wouldn't take the time to tell everyone about this trail, but it was so good that I feel a duty to share with my fellow mountain bikers!
