Vulture’s Knob kick starts the NE Ohio race season on April 30 & May 1st with a slew of events that only the good doctor could compile. Demo bikes from Jamis, Yeti, Intense, Raleigh and Scott from 12:00 til dark. 2:00 the tiny tots and mighty mites will kick off the racing weekend with fun filled kid races and activities. At 3:00 the Cross Country mountain bike race season begins as young and old, beginners and pros will be put to the test on the mighty VKnob trail system. Immediately following the XC race a “free” bonus race will be held. aka The 2nd Annual ”Muddy Paws race” which is open to all and is a short track time trial type event with you, your dog and your bike. Following the awards ceremony a bonfire will be lit, DJ Madnote will be spinning tunes and primitive camping is available. On Sunday, May 1st we wake up and open a new chapter at Vulture’s Knob with the first runs down the new downhill course. Complete schedule of events and times can be found on the Event Website
VKnob race entry fees include 1 giant Chipotle Burrito as you cross the finish line, Monster Energy goodness to keep the vibe flowing late into the night and all the racing zaniness you can handle. All races are held on Saturdays followed by Bonfire, DJ, primitive camping & good times. All racers receive a goodie bag at registration and the awards ceremony is like no-other…not to be missed.
