We’ve been contacted by park management to announce that all natural surface trails at Quail Hollow State Park (in Hartville) are closed until further notice, due to on-going wet and muddy conditions this winter (which will continue through this spring). Trail closure is intended to improve awareness and to protect the trails from irresponsible users, and will be enforced by the park (read: citations will be issued). So after many years of lobbying for seasonal trail closure at Quail, CAMBA is definitely supporting the park’s call on this one. Please respect the park’s request and allow the trail to recover until conditions improve later this spring.
